He has not really had an opportunity to simply sit and enjoy simple pleasures like having a hot drink and some apple crisp in decades, perhaps even centuries, so he's not going to pass up the chance now when it's presented itself.
The pumpkin spiced latte, as he'd learned it was called, was not a drink he was familiar with but he found the taste to be a rather pleasing one and did not regret ordering it upon recomendation. "A shame we did not have this back home. I think it would have proved to be a popular beverage once the chill started to set in around Himring."

Though Maedhros does not sleep as other people do there are times when his eyes may be open but his mind is put to rest in such a way as to make him just as unaware of his surroundings as a true sleep would.
He comes awake suddenly with a start, grasping for the sword he never leaves to far from himself only to find it is not there. Nor is he where he's supposed to be, for this wood is not where he'd laid down to rest before.
"What is this?" He breathes as he looks around.
He does not like this, these woods does not exactly feel all that friendly to him and he get's the sneaking suspiscion that there might be someone or something watching him.
Gourd Grief
Letting a bunch of burning bugs run around setting things on fire does not sound like a good idea to him, so he decides to do his best to help solve the problem. Though attacking the things outright seems like a less than sound plan so he opts to go about with a bucketful of water that he uses to dump on the bugs before he simply uses his boots to squish them.
It is slow going and, to be honest, rather disgusting work. He's almost certain he'll need to procure a new pair of boots after he's done with this.
