Children has always been a soft spot for Maedhros and knowing of one in need of help does tend to spur him into action. And so it is he finds himself making common cause with the strange little man he'd run into once he'd accepted the quest.

He looks a bit appologetic as he agrees with him. "It would probably be the best course of action," he says. "I am not exactly a small man and climbing down with only one hand would be something of a challange. Not impossible, mind you, but it's going to take me longer and it's probably a good idea someone get's to the child a bit more swiftly to assess the situation."
