"I've heard a lot of those stories, as well," he admits. "And not just for the gnomish pantheon."

He's quiet for a moment, considering whether it's worth explaining the Dead Three and the recent unpleasantness his own world has seen...and concludes it's not. It's over now, it doesn't apply to this place, and she doesn't seem to need any convincing that gods can be bad news.
