Tymothee seems a little confused by the singing, but after the first few bars of it, he seems to accept it, and it does help. He relaxes a little, enough to make it easier to set his leg. The pain is significant no matter what, and he's crying quietly by the time it's handled, but he stays bravely still.

"Yes please," he says and accepts both bread and water eagerly, hungry and thirsty in spite of the pain. He's still chewing when Maedhros asks his question, and he doesn't rush to answer, staring up at the shaft of the well above them.

"...I'm scared of falling again," he says softly. "I...I don't feel too weak, but I'm scared. I'm sorry."

At that rate, tying him to the elf's back might be wiser.
