Maedhros might not be as much as a craftsman as some of his people, but he had been a fair hand at coppersmithing when he was younger and still remembers those days quite fondly. So he always does enjoy talking about such things and would welcome a chance to have someone to talk about such things with at a later date.

Looking about the place he takes note of how dark it is there. Too dark, almost, considering the lantern. He does not like the look of it, for where he's from such deep darkness rarely means anything good. "Is it just me or does it seem a bit... darker than it should be down here?"

This place is strange and he does not care for the feel of it, the faster they get the child out the better he thinks.
