Again, it makes sense. Sanbreque was a theocracy through and through, while Rosaria's dutchy wasn't. People held beliefs, sure, but their faith was placed in the Phoenix and, beyond that, respect for the Founder who had built up their settlement. He was just a man though, and one without magicks at that. There were no goddesses in the lands of Rosaria the way there was in Sanbreque.

"Am I wrong to assume you found it all a bit stuffy?"
