tavern ๐Ÿƒ a spot of courage
One would think after her experience in the Feywild Keyleth wouldn't have just picked up whatever drink was offered to her and sipped it, but it had been a very long time since she'd been able to cut loose and be a little reckless that all caution was unceremoniously yeeted to the wind. It proved just as unfortunate a choice for the person sitting near her as it did for her, as she found herself leaning over and saying "Hi! I'm Keyleth, and I'm afraid I'll end up angry bitter and lonely for the rest of my thousand year long life!" The regret, she is instant! Keyleth pressed a hand over her mouth and turned a rather impressive shade of pink in embarrassment. "I am. So sorry. It usually takes way more than a sip for me to get that drunk. I mean I don't feel drunk. I mean, it's probably magic. I mean--so, so sorry. Please forget I said that."

"Oh! That looks a little like home!" As if the winds themselves carried her to it, Keyleth bounded over to the cloud-covered portal and peered in, beaming with excitement at the drifting clouds. "Well, home is in the mountains, not actually in the sky, but that's just even more exciting! Are you picking this one too? Here," she offered her hand, "Do you want to go together?"

Once in the city, she headed straight for the docks, leaning over a railing to watch the skyships come and go, for a little while, even meandering through the market and finding herself fascinated by all of the trinkets--some that looked so much like things from home. Eventually, though, the call of exploration was too hard to resist, and in typical Keyleth fashion, she found herself in a casino.

And found herself in the process of being evicted from the casino on suspicion of cheating. "Why, why does this always happen to me," she lamented, holding her hands up as she was escorted to the door. "Guys, really! I swear, this is a misunderstanding! I wasn't cheating! I couldn't cheat even if I tried!"

Keyleth was always interested in learning about new plants and animals, and cloudberries were a new one. She hummed softly to herself as she harvested the mostly with some skill and ease, but her thumb grazed a thorn and she slipped up in her quick efficient plucking; the branches wrapped around her wrist, almost like they wanted more blood out of her.

"Ow, ow ow ow, okay," she babbled, trying to gently tug her hand out without breaking any of the branches. "Let go please! Dammit, come on!" This would be so much easier if she could still, you know, do her druid shit.
