He was hiding his concern well but she wasn't as she touched the gem, her eyes wide as she looked at him. "Do you think I can take it off?"

She was still toying with the gem, trying to make sense of what was happening as she followed him, her eyes darting this way and that. It was a nicer place than the Wasteland but she wasn't sure what to make of it. At least he seemed pretty confident at the moment, so that made her feel better.
