Kiavo did not mind each stop they made as they retraced their steps, hoping there was something more they had missed. But he took it upon himself to knock on the door and speak when a frantic looking parent opened it.

"We found very little on the search for your little one... I am so sorry, but we have not stopped searching. Do you recognize any of these items we found?"

He gestured hopefully to the items Lioriley had in her arms.

It continued as they knocked on many doors, many parents breaking down into sobs or simply swearing at them for being useless. But Kiavo could not blame them for their words or actions--parents losing their children was one of the worst pains one could experience in a lifetime.
