It's clear Estinien has little regard for Eddie's skills, and rather expects him to know what to do--not that his inability to do so would be a problem, but he just has not thought about what others might be able to do.

When Eddie has the sheep wrangled, Estinien gets to shearing. "I used to do this all the time, having grown on a farm."

It was easy enough to cut off the wool, the movements more than just a little familiar to him. It's a clean job--an easy one. Soon, there is a hefty pile of pure white wool beside them. "Good work," he says, giving Eddie the tiniest of grins. "Do you think we could take another?"
