"Yes...you usually end up hiring adventurers if something unusual crops up, where I come from. Or, at least, crossing your fingers and hoping some of them come along."

He gives him an amused, warm smile. "So many of the people who land here are immediately on edge. Some are ready to walk right up to the faction leaders and pick a fight. It's refreshing to talk to someone who's calm about it all."

He sobers a little. "There's plenty of danger to be had without fighting one another, really. I would suggest being alert to changes in the weather or the earth. The thing that almost killed me not long ago was an earthquake."
