The laugh that Beleth barks out is startled, but genuine. She might have had half a mind to be offended, if Kion weren't so likeable, and if he weren't being quite so truthful. Perhaps there were more subtle ways of giving him the information -- but, well. What's done is done.

Beleth doesn't want to know. Her self esteem isn't as rocky as it was when she was a young thing, but it certainly doesn't need to take the hit of finding out someone else was able to do everything she was, but better, and was more likeable, and better looking, or whatever else she might discover.
Thus, it is resolved that she will not ask any questions about this other Inquisitor -- nor will she mention Maribelle to Kion.
"You do need to have a certain physical presence about you, if you wish to inspire those who look to you for guidance." She says it with a stiffness that belies embarrassment, trying to hide it by quickly grabbing her drink, and sipping it with as much dignity as she can manage.
"If you are Rook, then I should tell you -- Solas is here, but he is not a danger. He is with me, and I am watching to make sure he doesn't get up to any trouble. There is no Veil here for him to attempt to tear apart, so there isn't much trouble for him to find, anyway." Whether that's the truth or not is... debatable, of course, but she doesn't want to find Solas with another black eye. Nor does she want Kion to face his wrath, and she doubts Solas will take another attack without backlash. Better to not have either of them trying to have a go at the other.
