He's never had a lab partner but the idea does make him think of a certain Sylvari, the same who's great sword he had started to wield...and now didn't have. Something he wanted so desperately to get back. Without Caladbolg he felt naked as the day he awoke from The Dream.

Viktor isn't the only one a little lost in thoughts of friends. Granted, even when he returns he won't get to see his old friend. The man had passed years ago, returned to The Dream and passed on his knowledge to future generations of Sylvari.
