Lydia's heart was racing as she watched him rush in to take advantage of the beast being stunned by her screen, but it wasn't an easy task to pull the object free. Taking a couple steps forward, she started to get nervous as the beast shook his head with a slow growl, his senses starting to come back.

She opened her mouth to yell at Thane, to tell him to run, but then he pulled the harpoon free a second later as the beast made his discomfort known with a loud roar. Except he collapsed right as she rushed forward and she watched with wide eyes as the ichor started to pour from his frame.

Reaching Thane's side, she grabbed his arm to tug him back in an attempt to avoid the ichor. She stared for a moment before looking at him, silently asking what they should do next. She knew the scholars wanted the beast brought to them but now she was hesitating. "I don't think..."
