"It's my home, and as I just said, you're my family," he says easily, softly. "I live with other chosen family, there. Two brothers, one older and one younger, one of my romantic partners, my dog Buddy, and my partner's cat Delmar. It's a pretty full house, but I'm sure they'd be happy to have you. Of course, it's your choice, and I'll have to ask their permission if you're wanting to stay long-term, but give it some thought and let me know." He smiles and squeezes her shoulder again.

"For now, please at least find the beach shack if it gets too cold or if you're not safe. It's got a fireplace, at least, and no one will bother you there. Except me, of course." Another wink.
