The fading memory leaves only the two of them — Solas as he is now, and Felassan where he'd sat down alongside him and barely lowered his feet into the water before the spring worked its magic.

It was strange to see Lavellan that way. Throughout his so-far brief acquaintance with her she's been dignified and controlled. Beleth told him what she had done, and Felassan never thought really, you? Solas told him that she was his heart, and Felassan never thought really, her? The girl on the floor of the cell was weak in a way Felassan would not have imagined her. And Solas, in the cell, was weaker than Felassan has ever seen him while awake.

When he saw Solas and came to sit beside him he'd intended to say something smart-mouthed, but he hadn't decided exactly what, and he doesn't try to scrounge something up now. He watches the water, dark and gently rippling where the memory was, then without moving his head shifts his eyes to Solas, trying to gauge how he feels about this — about having it displayed.
