Words feel cheap, like they couldn't possibly describe even a modicum of what Jade is thinking right now, what she wants to say. And also what she doesn't want to say.

So she holds her tongue, bites down the pain, and sighs.
"I think I should go. Clear my head. Or at least away from this bloody place."
Being alone probably doesn't sound like the most appealing prospect, given the mess going on in her head now. But all things considered, she's rarely ever truly alone. She'll always feel the echoes of the dead on her back.
