The line got a laugh. "It's a regular joy in my own life to break so many of the rules I learned in my youth," Bel admitted. "Or just what people expect of me. Never doing things I wouldn't want to do, but..." But there was a part of him that liked thumbing his nose at convention, especially because it always seemed like something that he was made to serve, not that served him.
