It was a switch to have him be the one reassuring her but she appreciated what he was saying as she sat there and listened quietly to him. She knew he was right but sometimes even she had moments where she felt...weak. She gave his forearm a gentle squeeze when he pointed out that she had seen him stumble plenty of times. "Not because of your strength."

"I understand what you're saying." At least, she had an idea that he was telling her that she should rely on him so he could help her. Maybe to rely on others as well but would he trust anyone else as much as he might trust himself? At least physically? "It's like that in Scott's pack, we usually cover and help each other out. But I can't help that there are times when I wish I had more."

She hoped one day he would be comfortable enough around her not to worry so much.
