He watched as she took over speaking to the dragon which was probably a good thing since she was being rather respectful about it. He didn't even hesitate to take the torch from her, holding it a bit higher so the light would spread further as she decided to pray.

He didn't recognize the prayer she was saying but he didn't begrudge her doing what she felt was right. He was sure the dragon appreciated the kindness too, no matter what it did or did not believe.
