Imogen was impressed when Dimitri seemed to sense the creature before he could reach him, twisting around to face him as he evaded and she drew closer. She was ready to swing the lance out but the creature seemed to realize the spot it was in and so it lashed out.

Stumbling when its power rushed over her, she felt a throb of heat slam through her as different mental images filled her mind. She didn't know if it was because she was looking at him or for some other reason but she had the strongest urge to fall to her knees before Dimitri.

"I..." She clenched her jaw as she shook her head to try pushing away the thoughts but that seemed to only make them more intense as she whimpered in the back of her throat.
