"Mm...nooooo, not really." The girl beside her looks like she might be slightly younger than Lucy, but not by much. She has a soft look, rounded and plump, with wide blue eyes like a china doll.

"I think they're scared," she adds after a moment's thought. "That much praise, that's misdirection. They want us to keep being compassionate and not question things too deeply, but I don't see how things get fixed if we don't figure out what's actually going wrong first."
