Finally looking over at him, she blinked as she found herself staring at his elbow until she tilted her head back to look up at him. She had a little jolt because the sight of him reminded her of the armor Maximus had been wearing and what her Dad had borrowed to escape. It was enough to make her heart jump into her throat until she realized it wasn't either of them.
