Luckily Jade didn't lose her footing when she was startled by what felt like an invisible hand grabbing onto her. She's seen what Kaede could do before, even sensed it in a way with her own magic (and maybe innate intuition).

At least she managed it well enough to the end. They both did, really. And no one even died!

Whether Kaede would rather continue to spend time with Jade or not, she isn't sure. But if she wants an excuse to exit the dancefloor, Jade is giving an out.
