He shrugged. "Regardless, we agreed to return your pelt in his stead, and he sends along his apologies for taking what was yours. His, uh... his pod-leader? His sire? Anyway- his old man knows what happened and apologizes as well, and understands whatever you choose to do from here on out. Extends to your sisters, too."
Brienna clutched the pelt tight to her chest, but sighed. "I'll need to speak with my sisters. They will be worried about me."
"Of course. By all means, go find your family."
The woman shifted the pelt in her hands, draping it over her shoulders. She did not once look back as she headed for the gently-lapping waters.
Lulu crossed his arms, and took in the sight of a woman taking that first dive. When she emerged next, leaping from the water further away, there was instead a seal with dappled fur.
Soon he blew out a sigh. "Well... when every story of a selkie talks about stealing their skin, I suppose having them exist here means we might have to deal with more thefts like this in the future."
