"For a while, at least," Maedhros agrees. For he cannot see how this will not end up damaging relations between the two parties for a while. "But I do not think it is something that needs last forever."

Maedhros sighs. It is in line with the folly of youth, he supposes, and the boy had not meant ill either. Even if he had been somewhat selfish in both his desires and actions.

"I will relay your appologies to her and if she sees fit to forgive you, young man, I do hope you will have learned to ask the young lady what she would want next time you speak." He says sternly, yet not unkindly. "And yearn not to much for danger and adventure, young one, it rarely lives up to ones expectations. A peaceful and quiet life, I think, does not often get the recognition it so rightly deserves and one never really values it as much as one should until it is gone"
