A pause as his brain tries to catch up with all of this.
"We can speak openly, here. It's safe. But a word of warning, you and I are from the same world, but probably not the same point in time." It's hard to say if they even would have experienced the same events or if the two timelines have drastically different outcomes, but that's a can of worms it's way too soon to open. "One of us may have experienced more or less of the rebellion than the other."
Finnick knows already that he has experienced more of it, because he died after Cinna did, but he doesn't want to freak him out. Better to ease him into the idea.
