Maedhros shrugs in a very 'it is what it is' kind of way. They are here now and with no real way to get home, waisting time grousing about it won't do anyone much good.

"My boys would be sorely disappointed in me if I did not do my level best in helping the people here when I have both the skill and the opportunity to do so."

Maedhros returns the look before he speaks again.

"Well, a good story need not come directly from the source. Don't you think? You and your crew has met them, surely there must be a story or two between you all that would serve? That is if you are not all too busy, of course."

That should serve to give them an opening to speak with the people here.
