Hmm... it works a bit differently in my society. My grandfather was the first High King of our people, then my father after him and I held the title for a short while before I abdicated in favor of my uncle. The one who holds the title now is... some son or grandson of one of my cousins, I think. [And, if he's honest, abdicating might have been the single greatest idea he's ever had.]

Not more than humans are normaly given to in any case, I think? But seeing that my people are a bit different in that regard I can't really say what'd count as normal for humans. [For his people are positively chaste in comparison. And, in fact, once they've been married for a long enough time the urge seems to leave them completely in favor of a more spiritual type of intimacy.] There haven't been much in the way of pestilence or disease either... but once again I would not be able to be entirely sure. My people don't get sick, you see? But I can at least be sure that no one I've interacted with has been enthusiastic at the prospect of getting sick.
