Honestly, Alex was too endearing for his own good even when he was drawing attention to his very undignified laugh-snort-- the one that he had to keep under wraps more often then not because it was just as it said on the tin, not dignified whatsoever. His grandfather had taught them all that it was not for the populace to understand that they were real people.

But which really just got many things shoved under the bed/in the closet.
