With his armor so underpowered, he has been fighting it the last few jumps. It hasn't made him clumsy, per se, but it has been, well, effortful. When he lands next to the other, who was already counting his prize, the vents on his armor kick on. At least the cooling system still worked.

Gadriel was not known for smiling. It would probably hurt to stretch some the scars on his face to even try. Still, he respects the other man's sentiment. Someone dressed that gaudily and that capable was likely an Inquisitor. An ally.
