Alex was certain that he left his physical body for a few moments there, only resettling into an awareness of himself at the sound of Henry's voice. He looked down to the other man, easing his grip in Henry's hair and trying to brush the strands back into order with his fingers.

His chest rose and fell as he caught his breath back to himself. This was about when he realized that they'd made it no farther than just inside the door, just managed to shut the world outside before Henry had set about dismantling him.
