Considering how they started out, Jade was expecting to take the lead for the most part here. She should have known better when Kainé would take charge. Jade doesn't mind, though -- it's one of the few instances she's fine with surrendering some semblance of her control of the situation.

"You're a fast learner, yourself," Jade comments before she nods. "And sure. I could go for some brandy, myself."

The drinks they have here are miles better than the swill she is more accustomed to.
