As seems to be his wont this evening, Dion's gaze drifts down Joshua's form and lingers appreciatively on the trailing deep red ruffles encircling his legs and hips. They are hopelessly entrancing, shifting as Joshua's walks in a strong echo of the Phoenix's own tailfeathers. After a moment's such indulgence however, Dion's eyes return to his lover's face.
"I have danced and it was not terrible," he surmises with a smile.
Dion turns back toward the crowd below then, curling an arm about Joshua's waist as he does so. Golden clawtips rest carefully over the small of his back as they have for much of the evening- as though they'd never parted.
"But full glad am I to hear you are enjoying yourself. I must say it is rather more an enjoyable atmosphere absent the expectation to dance with every eligible maiden in attendance. Now, as then, I've eyes for none else."
