"Nn, I'm fine," Rook was quick to reply, reaching out half blindly to lay her hand on Lucanis's shoulder--for comfort, for connection, for balance against the strange sick sensation in her gut. She forced herself to breath in and out, a few times, deep and slow. It helped a little. "Maybe you were right about the food," she quipped, though she knew it wasn't that. "I think...maybe I should lie down for a bit. If there's rooms available here." She hadn't settled anywhere in particular yet, and everything she owned was quite literally on her person. One tavern was as good as any other...and Lucanis was here, in this one, which was the most important factor.
