It didn't take terribly long--just long enough for a shockingly laconic tavern keeper to pour a fresh cup of coffee and a tankard of ale, dump some stew into a bowl, rip off a hunk of stale looking bread and shove the whole affair across the bar at her. Rather than make multiple trips, she brought the mug of coffee to the table since it was done first, then went back for the plate and tankard.
"Not a very chatty crowd, are they," she remarked as she settled back down in her chair. "...So. You had more to share?"
