By the time she arrived, Lucanis had managed to calm Spite enough that he wasn't shouting at him about how Rook forgot - or simply did not know - so much, and how he was certain she wasn't going to show. Lucanis was confident she would, even if he dreaded half the conversation they were about to have. It seemed he won that unspoken bet.
"Decent, if you are drunk enough to stomach it." Which was only partially a joke. It was standard tavern fare — mediocre meat pies, stew, bread and cheese and plenty of ale. There was another reason Lucanis had chosen this place specifically though - "they have coffee, and while it's no decadent Antivan roast, it is not half bad." And it was, to no ones surprise, what he was drinking.
