A smile broke over Alex's face at that answer, pleased and maybe just a little relieved. They were figuring out this -- whatever the hell this was and would be between them. He had enough faith in them to believe they'd manage it, together, but it was new ground. Alex wasn't the type to let anything stop him once he had something in his sights. And Henry was all he could see.

When Henry continued, Alex's smile only widened as he very deliberately wound his arms around the other man. "I think... that it's really cute you think I'll wait until the morning to argue with you."

It was who they were, the banter and the barbs, the gentle (and sometimes less than gentle) ribbing. "What we are doesn't have to change. We're just adding something new."
