And yet she still remained optimistic. "We can look together." He finally offered after a moment. "And hope to find the others as well." Lucanis didn't have high hopes, but it wasn't as if there were many other options.

All that said, he really did not want to upset her further or linger on the potential implications of their being here from different points in time. Not with so many people around and no space to properly think. Lucanis decided on a distraction instead — one he could potentially regret.
