Barcus seems to relax a little, picking up on the fact that this is a peaceable conversation, with surprisingly little subtext. He's still not sure what to expect from Gortash, he just feels strongly that there's too fine a mind there to waste. Had they done nothing more than exchange notes here and there, that would be enough...but maybe they can discuss things that aren't business, as well.
