He had the wild thought that if he closed the distance between their lips that Henry would taste like home. It was dangerous to start thinking that way, but the thought was there, and he couldn't shake it. Maybe he didn't really want to. He liked the sound of Henry's laughter too.

"You? Tease? I'd never have guessed." Feigned shock preceded a quiet laugh of his own. God he really wanted to kiss him, but he wasn't sure that once he started he'd be able to stop until one of them was backed up against the nearest wall and they were both flushed and breathless.

He wasn't expecting what Henry said next though. His eyes widened in surprise behind the gold feathered mask at the mention of their first meeting -- a charged topic as that was. But this was certainly a different piece of it than Alex had ever known guessed. Henry thought he was beautiful? "Guess we lost a little time then, huh? But maybe we've found it now. You can show me any ropes you want to, any time."
