His own magicked mask and clothes are nearly disturbingly well-chosen, down to the golden claw tips adorning one hand. It seems even at rest, Bahamut is known.
Dion drifts out of the cold and into the palace proper, and whilst he intends to spend much of the night with his arm fixed around Joshua, considers that he may yet accept a few other invitations to dance. And naturally, the evening does find them parted at odd points throughout.
Eventually, Dion breaks from the ballroom floor to make his way up to the mezzanine, and leaning against the rail with an eye on the crowd below, nurses a glass of champagne. He tips it in a brief toast upon catching another visitor's eye and offers a faint smile.
"I hope the evening has been treating you well."
II. Sky's Ascension
The platform jumps are nothing to a seasoned dragoon- or would not be, if they did not constantly change elevation, with obstacles thrown in seemingly at random. Still, it is a thrilling challenge, and Dion does not intend to give up until he has conquered it at least once. Still, he does need for a break after some time, and drains a glass entirely of its contents with a hard breath and a grin.
"It would be easier with wings," he remarks to a fellow contender. "But admittedly, that would feel rather like cheating."
