"Oh-" Finnick lets out a small noise of surprise as the golden wing smacks him lightly in the face. "Pff-" he laughs a little.

The forgiveness comes before he sees the man. When he turns to face Alex, he takes a pause to look him over, his gaze not at all subtle as it flicks down to his bare abdomen, up to the wings, and finally settles on his masked face.
"That is quite a getup. You look decadent, though. We have a similar colour scheme, I see." He gestures to his own golden mask with a smile. "Are birds a part of your personal brand, or something?"
It looks like a costume they'd put a tribute in, but way more tasteful, honestly, even with how extra it is. Besides the partial nudity (which Finnick feels slightly shown up by- that's always been kind of his thing), Finnick clocks that he's never seen this guy before and that Alex at least appears to be human. Both of those things intrigue him.
